In two robust preclinical studies using animal models for humans, a mix of 24 vegetables and fruits was shown to reduce weight gain by 30%, and lessen clogging of the arteries by 70%, despite consuming a Western-style high-fat diet. The mix exhibited similar results, albeit to a lesser degree, when given with a normal fat diet. It displayed these effects because of its anti-inflammatory and beneficial effects on gut microbiota. Furthermore, rigorous life-long studies in animals showed the mix of 24 vegetables and fruits to lower cancer by 23% and mortality by 50%. Beneficial effects were observed on immunity, cognition, and body composition.
